As the calendar is indicating, Spring and the Festival and Tour will be here before we know it. This puts us in mind of the fund-raising/education project Fred Dawson has brought to the executive board and membership over the past month. So now it’s time to get started putting together the kits; preparing them for sale. But let’s not forget what is just important here… getting to know our fellow members as well. So, we are planning a very special event to do simply that!
DATE: Sunday, February 10th (that’s next Sunday!)
TIME: Set-up will begin at 12:00 NOON for those who can make it. We will hope to begin the process of preparing the kits by no later than 12:30. We will go no later than 4:30 p.m. with any clean-up activities to be completed by 5:00.
WHERE: The West building on the fairgrounds property. If you know where the Education building is (where the monthly meetings are typically held), simply turn left past that building and make your way to the building that is directly on the other side of the education building.
WHAT TO BRING: Just yourselves; no special equipment required!
Many of you have signed up to participate in REAP so we hope that many of you as well can attend this event. We are very excited to begin this project as it leads us to even greater opportunities for community interaction and education!
