Presentation and book-signing: Plant this Instead! Better Plant Choices – alternatives to common plant selections that are prettier, hardier, longer-blooming, available in a new color, less work, drought-tolerant, or native.

Troy is the host of Nashville Public Television’s hit gardening show ​Volunteer Gardener and is a knowledgeable, lively and entertaining speaker who has addressed audiences locally, nationally and internationally. He is also an author, garden designer, cook, tour guide, and photographer. He will have copies of his most recent book, ​Plant this Instead!, available for purchase and will sign copies after his presentation.

The meeting will be held at James E. Ward Agricultural Center Education Building, 945 East Baddour Parkway, Lebanon TN 37087 (map)

Tickets are $5, and include a chance to win a signed copy of Plant This Instead! Space is limited. While they last, tickets are available ahead-of-time at the  Wilson County Cooperative Extension Office  925 E.
