WCMG Meeting / Chili Cook-Off – Tuesday, 2 February 2016

chili-933This Tuesday, 2 February 2016 at 6:30 PM is our annual chili cook-off.  Can our reigning champion be unseated? If you attended last year’s chili cook-off, you know it won’t be easy.

wcmg_chili_competition-20150106-dscn3079David Bates from the class of 2014 swept into town with a devilishly delicious bowl of chili and took home the blue ribbon last year! But if you have a good recipe and you think you have what it takes to tempt the sophisticated tastebuds of our members, then don your apron, get to cutting and whip up a batch for the February 2 meeting. Make a crock-pot or stew-pot full, enough for everyone to get a taste. Also, please email cedarbees@gmail.com and let him know that you’re bringing chili. This way we’ll have an idea of how many plan to participate.

CHILI-3And if you’re not making chili, maybe you can help by bringing one of the following items: grated cheese, sour cream, cornbread, crackers or corn chips, drinks and desserts. If you can provide any of these items, please let Greg know via email at cedarbees@gmail.com as soon as possible so that we’ll know what’s coming and what’s lacking.
