On April 30th Spring Festival in the Grove will be held in Fiddlers Grove along with the Wilson County Master Gardeners Plant Sale from 10-4. The event is free. Plans are coming along great and there will be plenty of fun things to do throughout the day.

The artisans of the Fiddlers Grove will be demonstrating their crafts. This includes the Blacksmiths, Woodcarvers and the Friends of Fiber. The Train Museum will be opened for the child in all of us. There will also be a tour of some of the buildings, Arboretum trees and flowerbeds in the Grove.

There will be an area called Inspiration Alley where creative garden ideas will be displayed. The type of projects you may see in a garden magazine or Pinterest. If anyone would like to help in creating these inspirations please let me know.

There will be vendors selling their wares. We will have someone selling soap made from goats milk and will be bringing their goats. We also have someone else selling products made from honey along with many other vendors.

If anyone knows of someone who would like to sell their homemade creations at this event, please let me know.

Then of course we have the WCMG Plant Sale. With the help of Linda Robertson, I am putting together the list of plants that will be sold. Remember the profits from this plant sale will be going towards finishing our building in the Grove. I want to thank all those who volunteered to help with the sale.

I will be needing help in getting the plants, and will be sending out a separate email with the details of the road trip to Mary’s Greenhouse.

I hope you can come out on April 30th and enjoy the day in the Grove. If you are interested in helping me create items for Inspiration Alley or know of anyone who might be interested in being a vendor, please contact me at breezin1usa@yahoo.com

Thank you for all that you do,
Marianne Pelletier
