WCMG Officer Election – Christmas Dinner & Award Ceremony – 6 December 2016

WCMG OFFICER ELECTION, CHRISTMAS DINNER
&
AWARD CEREMONY

6 December 2016 @ 6:30 PM in the Education Building

First and foremost, we will elect three officers for 2017-2018. Officers elected include vice-president, secretary and certification officer. Each newly elected officer will serve a two-year term.

The food theme will be heavy hors d’oeuvres & finger foods. Please bring food on a holiday plate to make the table look festive.

Also, everyone is encouraged to wear Christmas attire or something festive. A prize will be given to the most festively dressed.

Remember to wear your name badge!

AND we are having a cookie swap – everyone who brings 2 dozen cookies will be able to take home 2 dozen cookies. Be sure to bring a container for the cookies you take home. Nobody likes a stale cookie… except Greg. He likes all cookies.

In addition, awards and certificates will be handed out to some of our busiest Master Gardeners. Likewise, several of our interns will receive their badges and be recognized for achieving certification as Master Gardeners.

Finally, we will be collecting for:

Wilson County Help Center
Wilson County SCAN program.

If you wish to make a donation to SCAN, simply write a check made out to Wilson County SCAN and place it in the basket Tuesday night.

If you wish to contribute to Wilson County Help Center, bring: canned goods (high protein items are appreciated), personal care goods (towels, deodorant, grooming items, etc.) and new clothing items (socks, underclothing, etc.). Someone will deliver the goods to the Help Center on Wednesday.
