2017 Winter Tree ID Class A True Master Gardener Affair

The Winter Tree ID class held Saturday, Nov 4th turned out to be truly a Master Gardener affair. Amy Ritter brought labeled tree wood for bark identification. Norma Dee brought some of her diseased arborvitae to be diagnosed. Joan Sutherland had fun checking out the dogwood branches annual growth. And Carol Walenga was excited to learn some new information on wings of tree branches. Unfortunately Beth Wallis locked her keys in the car–so the class wasn’t so free for her after all. :-/ But all learned a lot from Jason Ellis and his excellent presentation. Here are a couple photos of the event.
