Donald William Hatcher Jr. entered the church triumphed on February 6, 2018 at 11:45 am. Don is survived by his loving wife Melissa; daughter Donna Kay ;son David; brothers Dean Hatcher and Derrick Hatcher; sister Grace Hatcher; sister-in-law’s Karla Hatcher and Cindy Hatcher; nephew Bransen Hatcher; nieces Abigail and Gabriella Hatcher (Godchild); parents Don and Marie Hatcher. Services to celebrate Don’s life will be held at Two o’clock on the afternoon of Saturday February 10, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with placement to follow in the Garden of Peace at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Don graduated from Bearden High school on Knoxville, TN. He served in the United States Navy Submarine Fleet on the USS Casmir Pulaski SSBN 633. Donald worked at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for many years, served in the restaurant industry for several years, and completed his career as a lead custodian at Stewarts Creek Middle School. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Knoxville, TN. Don was a great man and had a heart of gold. He was always helping anyone in need. He never met a stranger. He was brilliant and creative beyond belief. He was a great son, husband, father, cousin and uncle.
