The following photos were made during the Wilson County Master Gardener Association meeting on a soggy Tuesday evening, 2 September 2014. Our guest speaker was Dr. Jason Oliver discussing Borer and Fire Ant Management in Landscapes.
Dr. Oliver is an Associate Professor of Entomology and the entomology program lead at TSU’s Floyd Nursery Research Center in McMinnville. He is an authority on fire ants and wood-boring beetles, and conducts research in the areas of integrated pest management, biological control, and semiochemicals/trap development.
