Native Trees of the Southeast: An Identification Guide by Claud L. Brown, L. Katherine Kirkman & Donald J. Leopold
— Note: This book organizes the trees by Family. Has good information and descriptions as well as a few photos on each tree. [-flo]

A Field Guide to Eastern Trees: Eastern United States and Canada, Including the Midwest (Peterson Field Guides) by George A. Petrides
